R/C Electric American MD-80

Photo from Keith Sparks with his LiteFILM covered solid foam MD80. Wingspan is 7 feet and has a length of 6 feet. 5 1/2 pounds ready to fly. Four, three cell, Li-Poly packs power the two Mega brushless motors pulling 30 amps turning 7x5 props. Castle Creations speed controllers are used. A Hitec 555 receiver is used with Futaba mini servos and a standard servo on the elevator. The silver LiteFILM was painted with good results. Wet sand the surface with 600 grit paper, just enough to scuff the surface.
